I need a relay module that operates when mains voltage becomes live and then operates a relay that is isolated from the mains for 5 seconds. Can the K8008 be configured to operate in this way if the C terminal is connected to E and the secondary circuitry omitted from RY1? In other words can the timer be configured to automatically start operation as soon a mains voltage is applied to terminal 4 of the K8008?
Connecting the C terminal with the E terminal is a start condition for the timer. The timer will be start immediatly after power up.

If I omit the RY1 secondary components and connect to SK2 6 and directly to the relay NO contact - after erasing the printed circuit print from SK2 3 and 4 to the relay - is there sufficient isolation in the relay and other printed circuit print to ensure that the relay output is safely isolated from the mains?
