I’m trying to run this card through the K8000 interface card. I’m using Turbo Pascal and when I run the example programa (say Ex5… for instance) the program doesn’t find the correct delays to use when running ‘SpeedTestText’ procedure. It runs up to 32000, then says it has the correct delay and then continues to increment further doing the reliability test. It doesn’t establish the correct timing. Any suggestions ?
The manual step test works OK, and the test program under NT software drives the card OK, so I’m pretty sure the cards assembled correctly.
Hi,
The standard source code and testsoftware doesn’t run under NT, Which OS are you using ?
All software is compatible till Win98.
I/O in Turbo Pascal doesn’t run correctly if your OS > Win98.
My laptop runs windows 98, but I’m running Turbo Pascal in DOS mode.
Does this mean the turbo pascal S/W won’t run on my machine ?
The NT program I referred to is on the disk provided with the KIT, which when I run it it works OK & drives the stepper motor. ( I can’t find any source code for this prgram)
