Sorry, this is not possible, as this is handled internally in the microcontroller.

I have thought a solution in my problem with the indicators.
If we take out of the board the two switches and replace them with a new circuit that can take control of the switching signals to the microcontroller then I think that this is possible.
We can add a couple of flip flops in external circuit connected to the switches instead.
Then we can switch on and of the flip flops with other switches and we can also have indication of the present state of the flip flops.
Then it is possible.
Maybe Velleman group can make this optional circuit in the future as an additional circuit board for the K8005 model.
I have two (2) of those boards and I’m very satisfied with Velleman products quality.

We are afraid that the K8005 has been obsolete for quite a while now, so there will not be any new developments for this item.
It has been replaced by K8096/97.
