K8004 output voltage

Hi,

I have a K8004 PWM controller and have a question about the output voltage. Im using an arduino microcontroller using its PWM pins for controlling the K8004, when I put 5 volts on the dc input im getting 14 volts on the load points (using a 14volt psu) but when regulating the dc input voltage to about 3volts Im getting only 1.3 volts at the load points… When the voltage gets up to 4.8 on the input im getting the full 14volts again

I cant get it to regulate my voltage using the dc input, what could be the problem? Is it broken?

Please note that the K8004 needs a DC voltage at the input, not a PWM…

Thanks for your reply, well I couldnt really do a good measurement with my multimeter it seems, after conneting the 12 volts motor i could perfectly adjust the speed of it using the microconroller as a d/a converter (using a siemens logo to control the microcontroller) so all seems good for now…
