K8000 problem

Hi, I have a functioning K8000 (tested with multimeter and test program). Starting from k8d.dll for Borland C++ I’ve created a k8d.lib for Visual C++, and my program functioned once (I setted three DAC channels at different values). Next day the test program is still working, but my Visual C++ program isn’t (there aren’t compiling errors, but it seems the card don’t receive any instruction from the program). Any ideas?

Try debugging to find out what the problem is. Since the test application is working, something is wrong with your own application.

Also make sure K8E.exe and all .dll’s are put in your project folder next to your compiled executable.

Perfect, all seems ok. Maybe k8e.exe wasn’t in my application folder. Thank you.

what is the content of the k8e.exe file? Why is it necessary in the application folder?

This k8e.exe handles the hardware communication to the LPT port.
Also the dlportio.dll and dlportio.sys are needed for this purpose.

I don’t have dlportio.dll dlportio.sys in my application folder, but only in windows/system32. Is that correct?

That is correct.

K8000 hello this should help the program to fix all but one of the LED
kapcsolásánál voltage is not generated so I can not run I0 s 6714-16
Our cards can be the problem

Sorry - but I don’t see what is the problem to connect the K6714-16 to the K8000.
The transistor arrays IC1 and IC2 on the K6714-16 must be replaced with the jumper wires.
See the K6714 manual pages 10 and 11 how to connect these jumper wires.

BTW: What might the kapcsolásánál mean?
Even the Google translator didn’t succeed to solve it…
