hi sir,
i assembled new k8000 board, i notice from the manual that ic4n33 installed from IC8 out to IC18 out and from IC1 IN to IC8 IN.
it must be in this order, and i can fill same ic in the empty sockets.

and for connection with pc i used parallel cable from J32 to parallel port in the pc, but the pc can’t see the board. ??

For testing the card the optocouplers (ic’s 4N33) are not necessaraly to be placed in the right ic-socket.
Only when you make the external electrical connections (inputs and outputs) to the board you need to use them to guide the signal to the I/O ic and to protect the card.
