I would like to have a dimmer for my fans (sunon 220VAC) controlled by my K8000 out channels(0-10VDC, “DAC output”).
Does it exist a velleman kit? Or how can I “dim” a 220VAC fan?
I already tried with a K8064 kit, but it doesnt work…My velleman reseller said it was not a surprise.

220VAC fans cannot be ‘dimmed’, at least not with regular dimmers.
You would need a frequency converter for such purposes, a very expensive and professional piece of equipment.
Ok,thanks, but you mean that for 12-24VDC fans its different? Possible with a regular dimmer (like k8064) in that case?
No, DC fans usually contain a current regulator circuit, which keeps their speed constant over a certain voltage range. Lowering the DC voltage below a certain point can make them run slower in most cases.
