K7200 Power Supply: no current indication

Hi

I have a Velleman K7200, which is the 0-30 V / 0 - 10 A power supply unit.

This unit works very well but I never got the current display working (the voltage display works fine!)

The 7segment displays just shows 3 dots (. . .) and no values. When I connect the CS input of the display module to the ground, the display shows a stable 0.00.

Any ideas how I could find and solve the problem? I’m not sure if the problem is caused by the display module, or by the K7200 main PCB.

Thanks
B

3 dots is an overflow indication.
For some reason, the current meter receives a too high voltage at the input.
Check the circuit from shunt to meter input.

Thanks, using this information I was able to locate the problem. Apparently the problem was caused by a bad contact in a copper trace on the main PCB.

The Amp meter is working very well now.
