Hello,
I had some questions as to how to wind the coil(s) of the k7201 metal detector kit. I suspect that there will be too many windings in the coils to be able to wind them around the short 5 cm ferrite rod in one layer. I was wondering wether and how I have to wind them in layers. As the manual says that the coils schould be wound in one specific direction, I presume that it is “not done” to start a second layer at one point, that is wound in the opposite direction. Is the sollution that I should begin winding a first layer, and than at a certain point return to the beginning of the first layer, to start winding a second layer on top of it, wound in the same direction as the first layer?
