I just finished building the K7000 Signal Generator, I plan to use it for testing and working on my tube guitar amplifiers. I have the IN and OUT connected so that I always get a tone out the Speaker output, I have an internal speaker and a 1/4 inch phone plug output which cancels out the internal speaker when I plug in my cable connecting to my amplifier input. Can someone tell me what are the functions of the two pots?, I just turn them up a bit and get a test tone, but don’t know what pots really are doing.

I think RV1 controls the signal you are injecting
RV2 controls the volume coming out
I don’t have one I am just looking at the schematic.
