I have a K8000 connected to a K6714-16 relais card.
Sometimes, an open relais close by itself a fraction of second and return to its open position.
My VB program ask the K8000 to open the relais on a defined time and ask to this relais to stay open every 100 milisecond.
So, an order is send every 100 milisec to stay open.
the K6714-16 s assembly manual speek about an optional noise reduction with condensators and resistances.
There is no need to refresh the status of the I/O.
Most likely, that is the reason why something goes wrong.
As for the ‘noise reduction’, this is only necessary with inductive loads, such as motors, solenoids etc…
ok, my k6714-16 card manage some inductive load devices. But It don’t have the noise reduction option configuration.
You tell me it’s “necessary” but what are the conscequences if I don’t reduce the noise for an inductive load?
Do I dammage those devices in long term or not? because I HAVE dammages on my devices already. I need to know where my problems come from …before buying all again…(of course).
Tell me more about the exact purpose of your “optionnal noise reduction” for K6714
To prevent damage to relay contacts, it is recommended to use a snubber network when switching inductive loads.
Please Google for more info on this matter.
