K5088 through router

Hi I’m wanting to access the K8055 board through a USB port on a BT home hub router V2, this port is addressable (192.168.1.253). I’m currently using the interface board with sunpatrol software. works great with the board connected direct to the PC but I have not got a clue how to direct the software to this ‘remote’ address.

Any Ideas welcome

– Any help??

Thanks for the reply, Iv’e seen this site and yes it was quite helpful for connect some things; printer, mass storage devices… but alas it was not very good for connecting the K8055. I was hoping to locate the interface card in my chicken coop monitoring temp, light and allowing remote operation of the electric door. The home hub would have been ideal to connect the k8055 to as locating a computer 50m down the garden in a shed would be unpractical. what we need is an ethernet version of the K8055 I could then run a cat 5 cable to it. Thoughts?
