Hi,
Bought the K4700 protection kit to prevent my speakers from that ‘plopping’ sound while turning my amp on. While testing the Kit I ran into a problem.
PA-LEFT side is working and switching correctly when connecting +V or -V to PA-LEFT.
PA-RIGHT switches correctly when connecting +V to PA-RIGHT.
But when I connect -V to PA-RIGHT nothing happens?
I ‘forced’ the output from OPAMP A2 to -V and then the kit switches?
Seems that the circuit around OPAMP A2 doesn’t react to -V on the PA-RIGHT input?
Further the kit works properly.
I double checked all components and even switched ELCO’s (C3, C4, C9 and C10) with the working PA-LEFT channel but that didn’t solve the problem.
Can it be that the inputs (+ and -) from A2 should be the other way around?
Can someone please help me out?
