Im using a k4006 with a k4005 and i cant find a 30V+30V 225VA transformer in the uk (rapid electronics a uk velleman distributor/anywhere dont have thoes specific specd ones ), is there a way to combine lesser powered transformers or anything i can do so i dont have to sacrifice on power by using the other reccomended transformers?
If you use a lower voltage, you will loose power, this is a physical law that cannot be changed. Do not use a transformer with a higher output voltage, it will compromise long-term reliability of the amp. Maybe your distributor is willing to special-order the transformer for you. We are sure a 2 x 30V transformer must be available in the UK.
