K4005B question

can i put a capacitor in series with the amp and the speakers or would that dammage the amp?
plus is it correct that if i put 2 speakers of 8 ohm in paralell would damage the amp in bridge mode ?
if so can i connect 2 speakers of 8 ohm in series to the amp ?
another question when in bridge mode is it ok to short the unused input to minimise humming?
thanks Dan

Why would you put a cap. in series?
Bridge mode: 8 ohm only (two in series is fine).
No need to short unused input.

yes but can i put elkos in series with the speakers just wanted to know if i can…
and would it hurt the amp if i short the unused inputs ? even if there is no need for it just want to know if i can
plus could i mount both cooling blocks onto eachother or would that dammage the amps?
i want to use 2 bridged amps for stereo output
thanks

Both cooling blocks can be mounted on eachother.
Sorry, no experience with elco’s or shorted unused inputs. Experiment at your own risk.

A capacitor in series from the amplifier output to the loudspeaker is a high pass filter. Usually a crossover function or a capacitor assisted bass alignment. Yes, he can use a capacitor as long as the capacitor is non-polarized and of sufficient voltage.

Shorting unused inputs is often employed in audio electronics. Quieter performance.
