K4005,3: V- rail to TDA7250 mute

I was wondering why the V- rail is connected to pin 5(mute) on TDA7250. If I add a voltage source over 3 volt the amplifier works fine, but why is that connected to V-?

Hereby a link to the datasheet of the TDA7250. It explains the different options of connecting pin 5

If it’s below 1 V, it should be in standby mode, but since it connected to the V- rail, it will always be in standby mode … If I add an external voltage source above 3 volts to pin 5 it works. So I was wondering why the schematics show pin 5 connected to the V- rail?
