I’m wondering if the gnd connections on the board of the k4003 kit should be connected to the chassis of my project?
the earth safety wire is already connected to the chassis

I was shown this diagram and explained that the diagram shows I should connect the signal input to star ground
. Isolate the input signal RCA jacks from the chassis.
. Connect the shell of the input RCA jack to the system star ground.
. Connect the signal input ground on the PC board to the system star ground.
and also
. The power transformer is not connected to the system star ground.
Could you confirm this?
Also I was considering using a dual potentiometer.
Will the K4003 support that? Or is there a risk of hum being created? I’m asking that because the signal ground should be connected at the dual potentiometer.

As this is a small and low current project, most likely the wiring will not be critical.
However, try not to make any ground loops when connecting the connectors and/or potmeters.
