K4001 add a power on/off indicator LED

I will connect the kit to a 9v battery. I will also add a on/off switch between battery and kit.
Is it possible to add a LED (to see if the unit is on/off) to the K4001 7W Amplifier?
Where can I make the connection for the LED, and will I need an extra resistor?

Put led and series resistor in parallel with K4001 supply input.
