I have been using a k2649 to control water temp. After succsessful adjustments and testing I moved it to the housing and now the selected temp has gone to maximum 186deg C and is not adjustable, actual temp reading is OK. I suspect I have damaged a component but have been unsuccessful at isolating one. It looks likey the IC2 LM324 may be at fault my question is with this chip defective would it cause my error? Well I have sorted this one out for my self NOW, so much for the Velleman support NOT!!!
