Using this kit to control the level on a tank fed through a “normaly closed” solenoid valve .I had to change the valve recently and i opted for a better quality one; I also had to change the power supply since the new valve requires 20w to activate.
-valve: 3/4" Brass Electric Solenoid Valve 12VDC N.C. Air Water Fuel VITON
-power supply: Mean Well MDR-20-15 20 W 15 V 1,34 A 20 W
it opens fine when activated (low level) but, when the full level is reached the valve closes with a jumpy declining stutter over maybe 2 seconds . I cant figure out why it wont shut down “at once”…
At this point I must stress that with the former power supply/ valve it did not jump like that but i had to replace the valve twice in 2 years
Any lead anyone?
