I need an amp like the K2622 but I need for the bandwidth to go down to .1 Hz. The width of the band doesn’t need to change because I probably won’t go above 1MHz. Can anyone suggest a modification to the K2622 or a different amp that will suit my needs ?
Thanks
Sorry, such a circuit is highly specific.
You will not find it in our range.
Also, modifying the K2622 to achieve those specs is impossible.
OK, so be it. Thanks for the help.
Hi,
At the moment I am experimenting with the K2622 kit. Using the BF199, FM-amplification works fine but it doesn’t do the trick for DVB-T because of the transistor’s limited frequency-range, that’s what I assume. I replaced it with a BFR96 and the kit is now a (tested) broadband signal amplifier! I’m hoping that my mod doesn’t do any harm…
Question for Velleman: is it possible to use two amplifiers in series to amplify a signal some more?
Thanks for your time.
In theory yes, however, do not expect any miracles.
There will be no impedance matching, etc…
After all, this is a very basic circuit.
Being able to watch EEN on my TV just by changing the transistor is already a miracle!
Signal is still weak but that’s probably caused by the Antenna being mounted horizontally. I don’t feel like going on the roof and changing it to vertical right now.
I rest my case.
I finally found the time to finish my K2622. I wanted to share my results with you… Broadband DVB-T(2) signal amplification works great with the new transistor.
