K2579RS Timer

Hi to all
I have a K2579RS timer Kit. Before I assemble the kit is it possible to modify to be a Interval or Cyclic timer.
I know the MK111 will do what I need but I have the K2579RS.

Sorry, we have no experience with this modification.
You might want to look up a 555 application that does that (e.g. MK111 or similar), and check if it is easy to modify the K2579.

What I have found basically, if Pin 2 and Pin 6 are connected together the 555 will tiger itself. The problem is I don’t know how to setup the proper input trigger voltage to pin 2. I guess I can connect pin 2 to pin 6 and leave everything else as is and see what happens.
