K1803 preamplifier problem

Hey,

I’m putting together the K1803 universal mono preaplifier and I am confused about the positioning of the IC socket and IC itself. The IC1 text and socket sign on the PCB do not match the image in the construction manual. Also the Ic does not have a notch. being not that familiar with the kits this throws me off…any help?

Check the PCB, it clearly shows a notch.
The position of the notch or dot on the IC must correspond with the one printed on the PCB.
