I have a interface k 8000 since many years.
I have always used the ad channels 1 and 2
Now I want to use also the ad channel 3 and 4, I have install the jumpwire and the resistor for this channels.
The channels 1 and 2 are still working, but channel 3 and 4 don’t.
What have I done wrong ?
If you have a multimeter, please check that there is some voltage on pin 3 of IC20 when you connect some voltage to AD3 input.
When some voltage is connected to AD4 input, you should get some voltage on pin 4 of IC20.
The AD1 input is connected to pin 1 of IC20 and AD2 input to pin 2.
Ok, I have done that.
There is a voltage on pin 1 and 2, and no voltage on pin 3 and 4.
While testing this, I have seen that as soon as I connect the wire with the voltage on AD3 and AD4 connection screws, the voltage on my multimeter, who is also connected, goes directly to 0 voltage.

The problem with the AD channels 3 and 4 is still there. What can be the raison for the drop down of the voltage when I connect the 5 volt on the scew pins 3 and 4 ?
Have you replaced the RA3 and RA4 with jumper wires?
If this is done, then there should be connection between AD3 input terminal and pin 3 of IC20.
- also between AD4 input terminal and pin 4 of IC20.
Have you checked there is no short circuit to GND?
