Issue to install "PCSU1000" & "PCGU1000" on a 64 bit laptop

Dear ,

I purchased by LAB electronics in Hasselt (but this company is not longer active , like already explained by Patricia from your sales department) from Velleman instruments the next 2 products
• Two Channel USB PC Oscilloscope ( PCSU1000 )
• 2 MHz USB PC function generator ( PCGU1000 )

On the both boxes is mentioned " Includes Pc-Lab2000SE “ software

But I have a laptop 64 bits and I’m not able to use the installation DVD , because I have always during the installation , the following message “ No supported 16 bits application " for the PCSU1000 , as well for PCGU1000

I’m also not able to run the both applications properly after downloading and installing the most up to date drivers from your website on my laptop , because I have always the message that the hardware not can be found , also not when the hardware is properly connected on my laptop

Please could you describe step by step the procedure to install the drivers and software on my laptop and in which way I can use PCSU1000 and PCGU1000 properly

Many thanks for your feedback !

Best regards ,

Jos

You will need to download the software and drivers for both.

PCSU1000 drivers.

PCGU1000 Drivers

If you have Window 8.x or Windows 10

Do this before loading the drivers

 1. Windows Key + R
 2. Enter shutdown.exe /r /o /f /t 00 <-- these are zeros
 3. Click the “OK” button
 4. System will restart to a “Choose an option” screen
 5. Select “Troubleshoot” from “Choose an option” screen
 6. Select “Advanced options” from “Troubleshoot” screen
 7. Select “Windows Startup Settings” from “Advanced options” screen
 8. Click “Restart” button
 9. System will restart to “Advanced Boot Options” screen
 10. Select “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement”
 11. Once the system starts, install the drivers

I followed your instructions and installed the software properly , but my computer is already upgraded to Windows 10

And I have like before the same message that the hardware not connected is , but I’m sure that the cable properly is connected , because I hear each time a sound during the connection / deconnection of the cable to the USB connection of my laptop
