I am preparing to download software for my PC laptop running windows 10.
I understand that I need drivers.
Please advise on appropriate down loads and any necessary workaround needed for win 10
You can use the driver: “Drivers for Windows Vista and Windows 7. (Can also be used for Windows XP)” from:

Alternatively you can use the driver: “Driver for Microsoft Windows 8” available on the same site.
Before installing the driver, you have to disable the driver signature enforcement.

I prefer to use the method option 2.
