Incorrect measurements (6%) DC by HPS10

Hi!
I am from Moscow. I just buy HPS10 at mondey.
And i tested this device. I have some errors in measurements of DC, and i think in AC measurements too. This errors is about 6%. For example, if i have 5V hps10 displayed about 5.3V, if i have 10V it displayed about 10,6V. If i have 15V, hps10 displayed about 15.9V. So, my current source have voltmeter , and my tester show/ me voltage like voltmeter in source. In DC measurements hps10 shows more voltage that it was be. I think in AC measurements hps10 showed me less voltage(about 5%) that it was be, but i don’t sure in it. So, can you help me? What I should to do, back this device to shop, or try to calibrate it. May be this is norm for this oscilloscope?

Make sure to set ground reference first when measuring DC (press GND a couple of seconds).
Are you sure the meter to which you compare is correct ?
HPS10 manual shows accuracy to expect for different measuring ranges.

I did it. I pushed ground about second. I think that my two metters are good.

The purpuse of a scope is not a precise voltmeter, but a wave analyzer. The difference in your measurement is normal due to the 8 bit vertical resolution.

So, if i have 10 V i see 10.56 in oscilloscope. Is it normal for this device? No callibration or change to anoter need to do?

In the manual written: “2.5% accuracy true rms measurements”, which contradicts your phrase that the error of 6% is normal. Is it correct for this device?

If it is abnormally I can change this device to another one…

First you must be sure your ref voltage is exact 10V, In theory you must measure between 9,8 and 10,2V
(4V/DIV / 128 => 16V / 128 = 0,125 (round up = 0,2V /bit).
Specs = 2,5% --> max 10,25V.
Measure always in a V/DIV as low as possible.
You can always let recalibrate your scope in our service department (send scope to us via your dealer).
If send also the technical Doc file to your mail address, so maybe you can caibrate it yourself ?
