Improving quality of print

Hi guys,

Just got the k8200 printer and really loving it.

I had a few teething issues, it was extruding too much filament, when I asked it to extrude 100mm it extruded 240, I have it calibrated now so it only extrudes 100mm when I ask it to.

I printed a 2x2 Lego brick before and after the calibration, I just want a bit of advise what I can do to improve my prints now.

Please see the pics, you can see the difference.

The better looking one was printed after calibration, as you can see the circles on top have some small holes at the base, one broke off.

Any advice, is it printing speed or something else.

It looks like your temp is to high.
For PLA try 190C
Adjust the stepper drivers to 0.55 not 0.425 stated in the manual.

I am using PLA, the better looking model was printed at 190 already.

Someone mentioned fixing the x and y axis wobble, how would I go about that and also where do I adjust the stepper drivers voltage,

This is my first 3D printer so im still learning.

Hi,

So messed with the settings and think ive got slightly better prints, I know it still can be improved.
