‘automotive use’ is rather vague.
Can you supply more details regarding the frequency and waveforms you would like to be able to measure?

I am unfamiliar with oscilloscope specs required to evaluate powertrain and chassis sensors on vehicles.
I was hoping you were!
However I cannot expect too much from such a small device. There are automotive scopes out there but the costs seem excessive!
I will have to learn the hard way.

Sorry, we have no experience with those sensors, however, we don’t expect elevated frequencies, so most likely your current firmware version will do nicely. If not, you can always send it in.
