All chanals from 2 To 8 does work well. When I hit the buttons the relays does work the way I expected them to do. But when I then hit button number oone, all relays went down. I think there is a short circuit at the points of button number one, but I can’t find it. Can it also been that the transistor of channel ons has been broken?
Kind regards Hans from the Netherlands
Hi,
You should really put the part number of the kit up here.
Velleman sells a lot of relay boards.
Clear and sharp pictures of the top and bottom if the board would be a good idea as well
Sorry for not messaging the right number. It’s about the K8090 the 8 channel usb - relay kit.
I wanted to upload a picture of the kit but i don’t know how to do this. Can you help me please?
kind regards
Hans
You will need to post the pictures on a free website then put the link up here
here you will find the link of the pictures

thanx for looking at them and your comment
Hans
There seem to be a number of bad solderings, but unfortunately, the resolution of the picture is not high enough.
Please check the joints of the resistors upper-left of SW1, we think there is a short.
HI,
Like VEL417 said the pictures are fuzzy.
But I think I saw a short on R38 closest to R14 and R16.
Are you sure all of the relays are activating when you push SW1.
Looking at the schematic I could understand 4 of the activating but not all 8.
Hope this helps.
I will have a closer look. This is the situation now.
If i push button 2 till 8 after each other they work very properly.
After that i push button nummer one and at the same moment all relays were released at the same time.
Greetings Hans
Hi guys,
I solved the problem. Indeed there was a short cut. And I now realised what happend. I missed a picture of the empty board. Then I could easely see wich two of the pins I soldered together that supposed to be apart.
thanx for helping me out.
greetings
Hans
Glad to hear your kit is working.
