Hps50

Where can I find the USB driver for this scope? Installing just the software on XP Pro SP3 is’nt enough.

When you install the software, the drivers are copied in the folder:

C:\Program Files\Velleman\HPS50\Drivers

When you plug-in the HPS50, you can search for the drivers in that folder.

I work on a Vista Ultimate 64-bit SP2 computer

and after a succesfull install of the software and drivers for my HPS50 The program shows no devices in the connect dialog.

in device manager i see my scope installed as a COM port.

Anyone an idea to get my HPS50 showing up in the program??

thx.

I got same problem. Iam running under Windows Vista Ultimate, SP3 and I can´t see HPS50 in the list of connected diveces. Drivers are successfully instaled from C:\Program Files\velleman\Drivers

Can someone help me please ?

thx. Ondra

sorry, windows vista SP1

The following software is available for download (windows installer):
velleman.eu/images/tmp/Hps50Setup.exe

The connection dialog lets you enter your com port manually. You will need to know your port name, which you can get from the device manager (eg. COM1, COM2, …).

When I save the image to the desktop it does not save the X and Y setting values at the bottom of the screen. Also I am unable to load a saved memory image fom the HPS50 scope to the HPS50 application.

I am able to do both using my HPS40 scope and the HPS40 application. I need to be able to do on the HPS50 what I do now on the HPS40.

Will there be a fix for this?
