HPS140i only autoranges down to 5mV/div

Hi,
The new HPS140i I just received from Amazon/Eio, with no signal on the input, only autoranges down to 5 mV/div (1X setting) or 50 mV/div (10X setting). It also behaves the same way with no probe attached at all. Shouldn’t it be able to autorange down to 1 mV/div?

The 1mV and 2mV settings are not selected by means of a gain setting but they are calculated from the 5mV setting.
Therefore, they are not included in the auto-range circuitry.

I reviewed the Velleman HPS140 Quick Measuring “How To” demo on YouTube and verified that the minimum autorange sensitivity is indeed 5mV.
