HPS10 - measuring phase differnce

Hi, Can anyone explain if, and how, I can measure and compare two waveforms off of the same transformer 180 degrees out of phase, (eg one secondary tapping with reversedpolarity) using an HPS10 ?

I want to look at both waveforms to compare the difference but don’t know if this meter can do it - on a dual trace CRO I would simply attach a lead each to each input. I know how the HP10 can store a waveform, but I can’t seem to see on the screen the 180 difference e.g. the one out of phase starting at zero and going negative.

Can anyone help?

Yours in hope - Mike

You need a dual channel scope to perform such measurements.

Ok, thanks for replying.

Can you tell me how I can, using an HPS10, check the first waveform and see it rise positive from zero, then go to the second waveform (which is 180 degress out of phase) and see it going from zero to negative? I wondered if the markers may help and time/div set low shows the waveform slowly cycling.
