Hallo. I have rechargeable batteries 2400mAh. Power supply is 9VDC 2000ma. Hps 10 se does not charge the batteries. Green lamp also does not came on when the power supply is connected. Hps 10 se work fine when is connected to the power supply with or without rechargeable batteries. I also try to reset but doesn’t help at all. Why does not charge batteries?

Make sure batteries fit correctly in battery compartiment.
Some brands are oversized, so that they do not make contact with the battery springs.
The battery seems to be fit correctly. When I disconnect power supply HPS 10 SE work correctly bat very short time about five minutes and then on the screen com on BAT LOW.
Then we suspect that one or more batteries are either defective or they do not charge.
Try charging them externally…
I charged the batteries externally bat it doesn’t help. I tried witch another rechargeable batteries which ware completely dead and when I connected power supply the green LED comes on and then the LED turn slowly off in about three seconds
Check the charging circuit with a multimeter set to DC A
Connect it to the battery connector. It should read about 90mA.
Without batteries and with Power supply connected it read 130mA between battery connectors (first battery positive, and last battery negative). With all batteries - between last battery negative and the connector it read 55mA.
Charging ciruit is fine.
Either the batteries are defective or there is a bad contact somewhere.
