HPG1 Calibration

Hi all, can anyone inform me as to how the calibration port on the bottom of the HPG1 mk2 works? my unit is outwith spec and requires adjustment nut the manuals i found online offer little help.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @MikeElrick,

The HPG1mk2 does the calibration automagically when starting up.
The port on the bottom of the unit is a X10 probe test signal, not a calibration.

Ok thanks for that. can I ask, do Velleman offer any kind of service to adjust these items so that they read within the 0.01% of reading stated?

Hi @MikeElrick,

Normally, each unit is calibrated during production.
If you feel like your unit is not responding like it should be, please contact the store where you purchased it so they can send it back to us for checking/repair.
