How to wire in a mains powered device to k2579 timer

HI HOW DO I USE THE A.B.C TERMINALS ON THE K2579 START/STOP TIMER TO POWER A 230V 6W TWO WIRED DEVICE. I DON’T WANT TO BLOW THE CIRCUIT. I WAS ADVISED HOW TO POWER A SOLENOID FROM A BATTERY POWER , BUT IDEALLY I WANT TO USE THE SOLENOID FROM MAINS. AND POWER THE SWITCH FROM THE SAME SOURCE THROUGH A 12DC TRANSFORMER. IS THIS POSSIBLE.

THANKS SO MUCH.

We do not recommend to run mains operated solenoids from the K2579, but if you insist:

For better performance, we recommend K8015

Hi,

Thank you very much for the advice, I have learned alot, and anticipate a solution shortly.

I would say though in your product packaging it may be beneficial for return custom to have some basic electrical info regarding your products, like the answers you have given me. Just as little pointers for people like me with a new enthusiasm but not much knowledge.

Also a leaflet displayed in front of your point of sale in the shop you sell from. A good way to entice also.

All this will create more interest in the buyers minds, along with confidence to perform the assembly procedures, and will come for more in the future.

All the best,

L.
