I know this question has been asked before. My VM8201 LCD display/SD reader is installed and working. I have figured out how to use it, but not 100% of its features. I know it is just a Velleman version of a widely used open source LCD display/SD reader.
Has anyone found an instruction manual for all the features available on the LCD display? I’ve “ground the gears” a couple of times while trying to twiddle the knobs and figure them out by experimentation. I’ve also accidentally modified firmware parameters and had to reflash the firmware on the controller board.
There must be a writeup about how to use this thing somewhere.
Have you read the pdf which is included in the firmware download ?
It shows all of the menus and sub-menus related to the LCD operation.
I just installed both the 8204/8201 kits yesterday and am quite impressed with the improvement in print quality.

I’ve seen the single sheet .pdf that shows the menu tree. I can’t figure out how use some of the menu options, and others don’t seem to work at all - for example, auto home.
I’m looking for more information than is on that single page .pdf file.
