How to mount LED

Hi,

I’m building the 8055 kit but I can’t deduce from the manual how to mount the LED’s. On the board, there’s a circle with a line tangential to it, is this side the + or the - side? In other words, should I stick the long leg of the LED into the line-side or the other leg? Thanks.

The case of the LED will have a flat edge that corresponds to the flat on the board.

OK I guess I’ll have to break out my magnifying glass to see what’s going on then :slight_smile: From looking at the LED with my naked eye yesterday I would have sworn it was round. Thanks for your answer.

The shortest leg of the led corresponds with the flat side which is printed on the board.
