How to learn without documents?

In december 2018 I bought the PICkit2 from Vellman EDU10 to learn from beginning the PIC programming.

Now I have installed the software MPLAB X IDE v5.10 and I coult load the first lesson “Hello World”. Now I want to read about the details on “http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/41296B.pdf”, but this file dosen’t exist anymore, as all other lessons too.

How this board can be used now? For a beginner as me?
