Home position has changed

Hi, can anybody help, after months of working well, my Vertex has decided that it does not want to go to the home position on the Y axis, when I tell it to go home the Y axis moves forward about 2cm instead of going back, Ted

Check the end stop for the Y axis.
Try to clean it with a Qtip of soft cloth.
