Hight X -beltholder and Z-motor mount

Hi there,

New here and after reading the forum i couldnt really find the answer, so ill just ask it :

Im not sure if the hight of my Z-motor mount and X-belt holder is correct, pretty sure it is not but here is a picture :

My question is, should that X belt holder mount be lowered? Because at the moment it blocks that rod where the wagon is mounted on…

And, the hight of my Z-Motor mount, i figured that was good but the manual said, 40mm to max 45mm… that wouldnt make any sense to me cause the Z-wagon wouldnt go any lower and get blocked by that motor mount, so i based my hight on the picture that showed the top cap should be about the same as the rods caps where the Z-wagon is mouned on.

Hope this makes any sense,

Thanks in advance,

Take care!

I just noticed the topic about the position of the Z Motor

So im going to have to move that part a bit.

Starting to like this forum already!

Since this is a recurring question, I will try to illustrate the general mechanics of why the position of the Z-motor is important, so you can decide for yourself whether to raise or lower it more.

The key is to be able to trigger the Z-axis endstop, with the extruder at printing level. I’ve added the measurements for this particular printer in green.
