Hello, I’m looking for a suitable relay board for my K8055.
At the moment Im looking to switch a 240v transformer (12VAC Out) that powers some LED garden lights. Would the relays on this board be sufficient switching a light transformer?

Thanks!
Since that is not a Velleman product.
You might ask the seller.
From the schematics for the relay board it looks like this is a board designed to be connected directly to the digital outputs of a micro controller. Please note that the K8055(N) does not output a voltage at its digital outputs ports, but provides an open collector. This means that the K8055(N) already has the equivalents of R1, R7 and Q1 on board in form of a ULN2803 8 channel Darlington transistor array.
It should work if you bypass those components.

Jan
Normally you should be able to interface it with the K8056 and then you have 8 relays.
Thanks for the tips, I would prefer to go with the K8056, but its very difficult to find these in Australia, which is why I was looking on ebay for alternatives.
Cheers
