Help ! Accidently to much voltage on kit

My mk174 kit got a voltage of 12v dc instead of 4,5v dc (turning switch on adapter )

Now the LED is continuously on and the kit is not working anymore.

Could anyone please tell me if the ISD1600 chip has to be replaced ?

Or only one of the other components?

Most likely, only IC needs to be changed.

Difficult to say, but less than the price of a new kit.
