Hello. lost the manual of MK 195 somehow :/

so i am grateful that you posted the schematics.
but are you sure it fits to the board? i have the one labeled pmk 195’1

and if i track the line-in at the schematics i see it goes over C5 to pin9 of the IC.
but pin9 on the circuitboard isnt connected to anything. and C5 is involved somewhere else on the circuitboard.

could u send me a dedicated manual for the kit again please?

best regards

Here you go =)

thx. its soldered and working now

i have a question about the external controls.
i want to use the module in combination with my doepfer eurorack modular synthesizer.
there is a module which serves a rhytmical 0V/5V gate-sequence.

i’ve connected the output auf this sequencer module just straight to pin 1(mass) and 3(tip) to the external connector interface to play the content of the voicerecorder rhytmically.
it works somehow, but not always. if i plug in the connector at the moment of high-level the recorder jumps to rec-mode(constantly lightning red led, no sound), not what i want. but when i plug at the moment of low-level, recorder goes in play mode, and every jump from high to low from the sequencer does similar action as i would press the play-switch, how i want it to be.

is connecting the external connector to a voltage source ridiculous? dont be afraid to tell me. im naive beginner in electronics :). what would be better, to connect those things?

The output of the synth, is it a dry contact or a voltage.
The MK195 requires a dry contact, not a voltage.

the output is from 0V to 5V.

i have put a relais inbetween now. but somehow its still unstable, or i dont understand the logic of the device… the relais i use has still a resistance of 10 ohm in closed state. perhaps thats the reason.

First of all, connect the output contacts to your MK195. With a DVM, a closed contact can still measure 10 ohm, no problem.
Apply to the relay coil first a test voltage from a battery, test if the relay works and also if your MK195 is triggered.
If ok, you can solve the relay control “problem”.

it was some mass-problem. i had connected a separate powersupply to the voicerecorder. now i have connected it to the powerbus of the modularsystem and it works. i like the result and think about the extended version, because it has line-in and out.

thx for the support.
