Hi Y’all, not new to forums, but new to this 3d printing lark.
Anyhoo, there I was happily building away, until I got to the “soldering of the thermistor to the PCB”, got one pad tinned ok, went to pick up the bloody thermistor with my tweezers and YUP it PINGED off into fluffspace.
Where’s the best place to get a replacement? I’ve looked on the main site, found the part is listed, but there seems no direct way of ordering said grain of rice! the build is on hold until I resolve this issue.
I would hasten to add: That I do mechanical things ok, BUT my big downfall is anything to do with “blue smoke*” I have failing eyes and pig’s t**s for fingers (with a bad case of tremor as well)
*teh sutff in electririkel circuits that SHOULD not be let out!
If there is a better part (I did look at replacements that are at a size I can handle (ie: a pea) and not a grain of rice, but will wait for a rational reply.
