When the printer is connected to Repetier the bed shows as 100c. I initially thought a problem with the thermistor and or bed so bought new and replaced them. Unfortunately the same problem. If I increase the set temperature to ver 100c then the board heats and remains heating as it struggles to get above 101c. Member Raby advised me to contact Velleman Support for a new board but despite an e-mail sent they have not replied. I have now got two heated beds and thermistors which both show the temperature at 100c. Will support please advise?
If you unplug Therm2 does the temp drop to 0C?
If so you have a short somewhere between the connector and the thermistor.
If not that sounds like the control board.
Thanks, tried unplugging therm 2 but it still stays at 100c
Then power off the printer, disconnect USB and measure the resistance of the small SMD resistor
near the THERM2 port. it should read 4.7kOhms.
