Hey, I tried to switch my usb mini b cable today, used a olympus camera mini b cable with a ferrite core. I needed to reduce electromagnetic interference. However the heatbed temperature does not show at all now, not even when I have my stock usb cable. Is the controller board the cause?
Check the USB connector on the controller board.
It is quite easy to lift it, damaging the connections, or rip it off competely.
