Heat extruder fails while testing

Hello,

Just assembled my first 3Dprinter: the k8200.
Testing X, Y, Z-axes, fan, bed, 3 microswitches are OK!
But the “heat extruder” isn’t: The pc makes a short contact with the printer and then stops with the following log:

16:21:14.066 : start
16:21:14.066 : echo: Brown out Reset
16:21:14.066 : Marlin 1.0.0
16:21:14.066 : echo: Last Updated: Dec 26 2013 09:30:30 | Author: (Boris Landoni)
16:21:14.066 : Compiled: Dec 26 2013
16:21:14.066 : echo: Free Memory: 4300 PlannerBufferBytes: 1232
16:21:14.066 : echo:Hardcoded Default Settings Loaded
16:21:16.481 : echo:SD init fail
16:21:16.522 : echo:Active Extruder: 0
16:21:16.522 : Begin file list
16:21:16.523 : End file list
16:21:16.569 : echo:Active Extruder: 0

Though the start-temperature of the “heat extruder” is the temperature of the room (22°C), the temperature doesn’t go up.
I’m working with repetier-host v1.0.6 on win8.

Actively searching for a solution;

Check for a short in the wiring or heater cartridge, which causes the power supply to dip (brown out).

Thanks for the fast reaction.

I found the short. Two wires where unintentionaly touching.
The heatextruder tested perfectly, now the callibration.

Problem solved.
