Hi,
I have just completed building my K8200, but the heat bed isn’t working.
The LED on the control board doesn’t come on when I turn the heat bed on, should it?
I new to 3D printer so any help would be great.
Cheers

Yes, it should come on.
Check if you see error messages in repetier.
Maybe your Heatbed thermistor shows the wrong temp.
It comes up with error m999
There you go!
This indicates either overtemp or undertemp red from the bed or Heater thermistor.
What values does repetier show for them?
Anyway, recheck both thermistor wirings for open or short circuit.
cheers,
Christian
Cheers mate it’s reading 190
190 is way more than marlin allows for the heatbed, thus it switches off to prevent fire.
Check the Thermistor wiring.
Unplug the bed thermistor and measure it’s resistance.
Should be around 100kOhm at room temp.
