Glue a Glass plate on Heatbed?

hi,

i want to buy a glass plate for my k8200.
can i glue this plate directly on my heatbed?

which glue should i use?

i dont want to use clips or something.

do the prints adhere on the glass plate or should is use some capton tape?
should i raise the driver voltage with the glass plate?

Hi,

I’ve done the following :

I’ve put some thermal compound between the heated bed and the mirror.
I glued the corners of the mirror with a glue gun. It sticks perfectly and is still removable if needed.

If the glass plate is well cleaned (with isopropyl alcohol) PLA sticks perfectly (ABS doesn’t).
With blue painter tape it sticks even more.

The glass late increases the momentum. My drivers voltage is set around 0.5 V and it works fine.

ok… when i heat the bed… doesnt the heatglue become liquid?

No the melting point of the glue is far over the common temperatures of the bed (50-70°).
